Termal Astra

Raise a dragon that lives in your backpack. Bend fire and water magic, carry the alchemical Great Work to the Philosopher’s Stone, and let a magic network run your other mods’ machines.

Getting started

1. Open the guide book you get on first join, or craft one (Book + Ender Pearl).
2. Place a Fogux Extractor against lava, or an Aguix Extractor against water.
3. Link up to 4 machines, 32 blocks away, with the Astra Connection Ring.
4. Place an Astra Observer against your chests or Astra Vaults: that’s your network.

Companion Dragon

Your dragon hatches from Black Matter, the first fruit of the Great Work. It carries your things, sends drops to your network and breathes fire at monsters. On your shoulder, it takes 25% of each hit. Brush its scales to craft the Astral Draconic Wings: free flight, with your dragon at your side.

Astra Network & Autocrafting

An Astra Observer joins every chest that touches another, up to 1,024. Order any item in the Vision Terminal: the network plans every step, up to 32 orders at once. An Arcane Interface runs the furnaces and machines around it and, with JEI, learns other mods’ recipes by itself. Arcane Entrances reach machines anywhere in the dimension.

The Great Work

In the Athanor, make Salt, Sulfur and Mercury. Heat with Fogux and cool with Aguix to hold the temperature in a moving window while the egg changes color. Each stage gives a matter that upgrades an Interface: up to 25×25×25 blocks and 4× faster furnaces. The last is the Philosopher’s Stone: it turns iron and lead into gold.

Wizard Robe

Start as an Apprentice in purple wool. Level up each piece at the Smithing Table with an Arcane Template and a bar. Full Aguix lets you breathe, mine and heal underwater. Full Fogux shields you from fire, and at Lumi you walk on lava.

Astral Arsenal

Swords and staffs level up like the Robe. Link a sword to an Astral Spirit Vault and up to 5 portals throw your spare swords. Staffs cast fire pillars and water prisons up to 24 blocks away. The Vaporis Lumi, forged with the Philosopher’s Stone, hits for 51.

Astral Obelisk

Place a Core and 4 Pylons, then give the Core a Great Work matter to claim up to 65×65 blocks. Switch on fire against hostiles, a barrier against enemy arrows, team blessings, faster machines, or a dome with no rain and no monster spawns.

Astral Carpet

Place two carpets anywhere, in any dimension. Step on one and click: the camera rises to the stars. Pick a star to land there. Free trips, 30-second cooldown.

Is this for you?

• You play big modpacks. It uses your machines instead of replacing them, and its damage keeps up with the late game.
• You hate pipes. Energy, items, XP and redstone travel without wires.
• You want magic with a purpose. Robes, spells and rituals that also run your base.

Not for you if you want a small, vanilla-style mod.

• Arcane Interface tested with Mekanism, Mystical Agriculture, AE2, Powah and Iron Furnaces on 1.21.1. On 26.1.2 so far: Mystical Agriculture and AE2.

FAQ

Which file for All the Mods 11? The 26.1.2 file, in a new world. 1.21.1 worlds don’t carry over.

Do I need another storage mod? No. The network stores, sorts and autocrafts, and links other mods’ chests too.

Can I use it in my modpack? Yes.

2. Encoste um Extrator de Fogux na lava, ou um de Aguix na água.
3. Com o Anel de Conexão Astra, ligue até 4 máquinas, a até 32 blocos.
4. Encoste um Observador de Astra nos seus baús ou Cofres Astra: essa é a sua rede.
