Steady Sight

Make first-person camera movement and effects less abrupt.

Steady Sight can smooth vertical motion over steps and minecart slopes, add a subtle border vignette, and reduce effects such as view bobbing, FOV changes, and damage tilt. It also adjusts selected supported mod effects.

Initial settings changes are not repeatedly forced over choices you make later. NeoForge has a configuration screen and file, Forge uses a file, and Fabric uses the defaults.

If another mod already smooths the same motion, choose which one to use. Comfort varies by player; the mod does not change movement or collision.
