Spin the roulette, get your objectives, race the clock.

Speedrun Roulette turns every Minecraft world into a new speedrun challenge. Choose a game mode, shape your objective pool, and let the roulette decide what you have to get. The timer, HUD, splits and statistics are built into the game, in singleplayer or with friends on a server.

Follow the competition from your browser on the Speedrun Roulette leaderboards website.

Daily Challenge : today’s and yesterday’s challenge, the item to get, the podium and the full leaderboard.

Best players : who won the most Daily Challenges, and the latest winners.

Community Challenges : every challenge with its difficulty and its leaderboard.

Live, in English and French, on computer and phone. In game, the Website button of the Daily and Community Challenges screens opens it.

Game Modes

Classic : complete every drawn objective to win.

Chain : one objective at a time, each one unlocks the next.

Chain Rush : race the clock, a new objective after each one, your score is how many you complete.

Bingo : a grid of objectives, from 3×3 to 10×10, complete rows or columns to win.

Flower Power : breaking a flower gives a random item.

Shuffle : every broken block drops another block, with the same pairings for the whole run.

SetBlock : pick one block and practice it again and again.

Chaos : Classic, with 2 random handicaps for the whole run.

Shulker Challenge : you start with an empty shulker box, fill it with 27 full stacks of the drawn item.

Daily and Community Challenges

Daily Challenge : the same objective for every player, every day, with a worldwide leaderboard. The Yesterday button shows the previous challenge and its final results.

Community Challenges : 18 challenges made by the team, such as Dragon Speedrun, All Bosses, Netherite or How Did We Get Here, each with its own leaderboard.

Objectives

Speedrun items, blocks, advancements, mob kills, animal breeding, biomes, food and potion effects, or any mix of them. Everything that can be done in survival is in the pool, and impossible objectives are never drawn.

The pool is fully yours: check or uncheck anything, filter by type, dimension or difficulty (Easy, Medium, Hard), and save your favourite setups as presets. Each run draws from 1 to 25 objectives.

What’s the Craft? One click on any drawn item or block shows its recipe: crafting table, furnaces, stonecutter or smithing table. Items that cannot be crafted tell you where to find them.

Run seeds : share the exact same challenge with a friend, or replay it.

Timer, HUD and Splits

The timer starts and stops by itself, and every run begins in the morning. The HUD shows the time, your objectives with their icons, the distance traveled, your deaths and the in-game days, in full, minimized or hidden mode.

Splits are recorded for every completed objective, every structure you enter (Village Found 1, 2, 3, and a structure you come back to never counts twice), and the Nether, the End and the way back to the Overworld.

At the end of the run, a detailed screen shows your final time, the objectives, your statistics, every split, the run seed to copy, and Try again, New map or New run in one click.

Multiplayer

Works on dedicated servers and in LAN.

Teams : random teams of any size, or players pick their own.

Switch objective vote : if most players do not like the draw, a new one is made.

Back to back runs : /speedrun next starts a new run in a fresh area, puts the world back as it was (placed blocks removed, broken blocks and chests restored), and fully resets every player, advancements and bed spawn included.

During the run : announcements when a team completes an objective, a compass that shows only your teammates, and a spectator menu.

Controls

R : objectives menu (progress, recipes, try again, new map, new run, give up)

H : HUD display (full, minimized, hidden)

K : copy the run seed

J : fast reset (new map, same challenge)

Every key can be changed in the Minecraft controls. In multiplayer, /speedrun lists the commands.
