📜 Original mod

This is an unofficial port of Spartan Weaponry: Arcana beta-1.0.3 by ObliviousSpartan (Minecraft 1.12.2). Original source: github.com/ObliviousSpartan/SpartanWeaponryArcana, license GPL-3.0, which allows derivative works; this port keeps GPL-3.0. All of the content, art and ideas are the original authors’.

How this port differs from the original

• Runs on Minecraft 1.21.1 and 1.21.11, NeoForge and Fabric (the original is for 1.12.2), as an addon of the Spartan Weaponry port. Botania is optional on 1.21.1; it has no 1.21.11 version.
• Fixes bugs of the original: Embers weapons loaded without the mod (#5), players kicked when swinging a Terrasteel weapon on a server (#3), no config for the weapons (#4), a crash at start-up with a mismatched Spartan Weaponry (#1).

Spartan Weaponry: Arcana by ObliviousSpartan forged Spartan weapons from Botania, Thaumcraft and Embers metals, and never left Minecraft 1.12.2. This port brings it to Minecraft 1.21.1 and 1.21.11 for NeoForge and Fabric, as an addon to the Spartan Weaponry (Unofficial Port), with the bugs of the original fixed.

Features

• 132 weapons in six materials: every Spartan Weaponry weapon type (daggers, longswords, katanas, greatswords, hammers, spears, halberds, lances, longbows, heavy crossbows, throwing weapons, boomerangs and more).
• Manasteel (Botania): Mana Repair, repairs itself with mana from your inventory.
• Terrasteel (Botania): Mana Repair and Terra Burst, a swing at the air fires a mana burst, like the Terra Blade.
• Elementium (Botania): Mana Repair and Pixielated, a pixie may defend you when you are hurt.
• Thaumium, Void Metal, Dawnstone: from any mod with c:ingots/thaumium, c:ingots/void_metal, c:ingots/dawnstone; Void Metal is Warped, it repairs one durability every second.
• Shown only when they can be made: a material’s weapons are craftable, and shown in the creative tab, JEI and EMI, as soon as some mod or data pack adds its ingots.
• Lexica Botania: Livingwood and Dreamwood handles and poles, a Dreamwood crossbow limb, and three entries in the Tools category with every recipe.
• 6 languages: English, Russian, Ukrainian, German, Spanish, Portuguese (Brazil).

Versions

• 1.21.11 — NeoForge 21.11.48+ or Fabric Loader 0.19.5+, Java 21, Spartan Weaponry (Unofficial Port) 3.2.1.2 for 1.21.11; without Botania
• 1.21.1 — NeoForge 21.1.197+ (21.1.262+ with Botania) or Fabric Loader 0.16.14+ (0.17.3+ with Botania), Java 21, Spartan Weaponry (Unofficial Port) 3.2.1.2+

Optional on 1.21.1: Botania (Manasteel, Terrasteel, Elementium, the abilities, the lexicon). Botania for 1.21.1 is not released yet; Arcana was tested with a build of its 1.21.1 branch and turns its Botania features off, rather than crashing, if the API changes.

Botania has no 1.21.11 version: on 1.21.11 the Manasteel, Terrasteel and Elementium weapons exist but cannot be crafted, and their abilities do nothing. Thaumium, Void Metal and Dawnstone work on both versions.

Installation

• Put the jar and the Spartan Weaponry port, for the same loader and Minecraft version, into mods/ on the server and on every client. On Fabric, Spartan Weaponry needs Fabric API and Forge Config API Port.

What was fixed

• Swinging a Terrasteel weapon on a server kicked the player (#3).
• Weapons of missing mods were always shown (#5); start-up crash with a mismatched Spartan Weaponry (#1).
• Void Metal weapons repaired faster with every player online; bows and crossbows never repaired with mana.
