Soul Ghost

Soul Ghost is a hardcore mod that changes the death system and adds the “on death” and “ghost” mechanics.

When a player is supposed to die, they don’t die immediately — instead, they fall to the ground and remain in a state of being on death for 60 seconds. During this entire time, they cannot move, break blocks, interact with the world, or pick up items. The only chance of survival is another player holding a Bint.

If no one helps in 60 seconds, the player turns into a ghost — a flying observer with particles around, which is visible to other players. Only a soul Fragment thrown nearby can bring a ghost back to life. But every death weakens the body: resurrection from a ghost takes away 1 heart forever. You can return lost hearts with the help of the Echo of the heart.

Items:

Bandage — saves the player in a state of “near death”. Gives 2 hearts, but does not restore the maximum.

Craft Bandage:

Soul Fragment — resurrects a ghost. Minus 1 heart forever (to a minimum of 1 heart).

Craft Soul Fragment:

Echo Heart — returns 1 heart to the maximum. It is used until all 10 hearts are restored.
