Smart NPC primarily adds Player NPC into your world, they have all behaviour and can do manything a real player can do, such as: gathering wood, mining, fishing, farming, building house, hunting for monsters, players or run away if they are low at health

Better Combat

Player NPC while attacking will have Better Combat animations and swinging trail particles

Epic Fight

Player NPC will have patched model from EpicFight and they can use any weapons with moveset from that weapons

Yes Steve Model

Player NPC will have randomly YSM model installed by the Server, with Yes Steve Model installed you can define a new interest value to assign a model to a Player by “YSM:<model file name>”
You can turn this off by setting modelChance into 0.0 inside smart_npc-compat

Configuration

This mod provide a lots of configuration, you can turn off Player NPC chat, modify spawn weight, turn off force tick, enabling NPC prefix infront of their chat, … inside smart_npc-server.toml

You can add more Player NPCs, customize their behaviour inside smart_npc-names.toml and customize their chat by using datapack

Progression

Player NPC gear scales with your game progression. When first joining a world, most Player NPCs will spawn without armor or weapons, though some may have leather armor and wooden weapons. Once a player enters the Nether, NPCs will upgrade to chainmail, gold, and iron gear. When a player enters the End, NPCs will advance to diamond and netherite gear. You can also add custom gear progression by using a datapack.

Server Utility

This mod provide a tool called Inspector Tool, with this tool you can inspect the current server TPS, amount of Player NPCs spawned by shift right click into the air

If you right click into any Player NPC you can also view their AI status, health and inventory

To avoid killing TPS this mod define an algorithm that calculate the resources distributing for Player NPCs, if the server is well it can distribute up to 5 worker slot to let Player NPCs run their logic, or else they will just Random Stroll Around, Looting or Hunting mob

You can also inspect the view of Player NPC in FPP, TPP back and TPP front.
