SK33 — NTGL Projectile Fix & Compatibility

This standalone fix mod brings together several fixes for weapons using NukaTeam Gun Lib (NTGL), including Create: Gunsmithing.

Fixes and compatibility

Projectile visibility: fixes projectiles disappearing prematurely on the client and grenades disappearing on first contact.
Sable compatibility: corrects hit detection against vehicle occupants by accounting for the target’s coordinate system.
Shield Generators compatibility: integrates NTGL projectiles with shield interception, including a check before damage calculation for fast bullets.
Shield ricochets: keeps deflected NTGL bullets and rockets active and synchronizes their updated position and movement. Deflected rockets retain their explosive capabilities.
Impact reactions: reduces excessive impact effects and breach pressure caused by fast bullets without changing their actual speed or damage.

Shield Generators continues to handle breaches and the rules governing which shots can pass through.

Installation

Remove any older version of the fix.
Place the fix’s JAR file in the mods folder on both the server and clients, alongside the required dependencies.
Fully restart Minecraft.

The mod works independently: no changes to the original NTGL JAR are required.

Development and credits

This mod was developed using AI (OpenAI Codex) to address the needs of my modpack, SK33 – Create: Iron Skies, and tested in-game by me.

It is based on the diagnosis and workaround suggestions documented in NTGL issue #20. Thanks to the issue author for documenting the problem and potential solutions.
