Simply Warps

Simply Warps is a lightweight, server-friendly teleportation mod built on Architectury, supporting both Fabric and Forge. It allows server administrators to create warp points and generate specialized teleport crystals that players can use to warp to those locations with immersive visual and audio effects.

Features

• Warp Crystals: Mystical crescent-shaped purple crystals bound to specific warp points. Use them with a right-click to begin teleporting.
• Delayed Warp Sequence: Features a small delay before teleporting, displaying beautiful portal particle rings and ambient sounds.
• Interruption System: Teleportation cancels dynamically if the player takes damage or moves too far, giving it an immersive survival-friendly feel (fully toggleable).
• Auto-Cleanup: If an admin removes a warp location, all associated crystals in the world, chests, and player inventories automatically delete themselves to prevent invalid warps.

Commands

All commands require level 2 admin/operator permissions:

• /simply_warps warp create <name> – Creates a warp point at your current position and looking angle.
• /simply_warps warp remove <name> – Deletes a warp point and clears all matching crystals from online player inventories.
• /simply_warps warp crystal <name> – Gives you a pre-bound Warp Crystal linked to the specified warp point (with autocomplete support).
• /simply_warps warp list [page] – Displays a paginated list of all active warp points, including their coordinates and dimensions.

Configuration

You can customize the mod’s behavior by editing config/simplywarps.json:

• allowCrossDimension – Allow teleporting between different dimensions (default: true).
• cancelOnDamage – Cancel teleportation if the player takes damage during the delay (default: true).
• cancelOnMovement – Cancel teleportation if the player moves during the delay (default: true).
• teleportDelayTicks – The delay before teleportation in ticks (default: 60 ticks / 3 seconds).
• cooldownTicks – Cooldown duration in ticks before the player can use the crystal again (default: 200 ticks / 10 seconds).
