SFM’s programming interface is plain text: writing a program means typing SFML by hand. This mod adds a block editor on top — drag blocks to build your automation while the source code updates live next to it. Edit the source and the blocks follow. What gets saved to the manager’s disk is still standard SFML, so players without this mod can read your programs just fine.

 

Block editor**: trigger cards sit on an infinite canvas with scroll zoom; positions are remembered per trigger. Timer/redstone triggers, input/output/forget, and conditional branches (and/or/not grouping) are all blocks. Sides, slots, round-robin, retain-amount and the rest live in an “Add” menu, so unused options stay out of the way.

 

Two-way source editing**: open the code panel and blocks and SFML sit side by side. Valid programs round-trip between blocks and source without losing comments or formatting, and half-typed broken code never wipes your blocks. Verified against all 8 official example programs and over a thousand randomized block combinations.

 

Pre-save checks**: programs go through SFM’s own compiler plus local checks — missing labels, conflicting sides, always-false conditions, timers below the server minimum get caught before they hit the disk. The issues panel jumps to the offending block; most issues have a one-click fix.

 

Resource tags / NBT filtering**: no need to memorize tag ids — pick an item and see which tags it belongs to, with pinyin search for Chinese names and free and/or/not combinations. With the mod installed on both sides you can also filter by item components: enchantment type and level, potion type, custom name, custom data (data components on 1.21, NBT on 1.20.1 — equivalent semantics).

 

JEI integration** (optional): the JEI list stays visible while editing; drag items straight into resource slots, right-drag fluid containers. Fully usable without JEI.
