# Serost — the Cat That Never Stops

A single unkillable entity that hunts you until the end of the world.

## How it works

– As soon as you join the world you get a warning: you have **1 minute** to run. The message is shown **once per world** and is saved with it.
– After that minute **Serost** appears at the world spawn and starts walking towards you.
– It always knows where you are: it follows you into other dimensions, catches up if you get more than 96 blocks away, and teleports right to you if you climb a pillar, stand on a platform, hide in a tree or wall yourself in.
– **It cannot be killed** — no damage type works, `/kill` does nothing, the void does not remove it, it never despawns.
– It swims in water (even against the current), floats on lava, and breaks doors, glass and wooden walls to get to you.
– Melee damage is the same as a zombie’s.
– No name tag above its head and no shadow — you only learn what killed you from the chat message.

– Minecraft **26.3**
– Fabric Loader **0.20.1+**
– Fabric API **0.165.0+26.3** (required)
– Java **25**

## Notes

– Client + server mod: works in singleplayer and on servers (install on both sides).
– The mob is rendered as a flat PNG billboard.
– Spawn it manually with `/summon serost:serost`.
