Rackcraft × Superb Warfare: Grid Charger

Charge your Superb Warfare vehicles from your Rackcraft power grid, wirelessly and from hundreds of blocks away. Includes generated airports.

Vehicle Charger

A Rackcraft machine that sits on a power network. Craft it from steel, copper wire, circuit boards, a PDU and an SBW Charging Station.

Charges every SBW vehicle within 24 blocks, with no cables.
– Draws up to 200 kW while anything needs charging, and 0.5 kW when idle. A 5M tank fills in about 100 seconds.
– Bigger batteries draw proportionally more, up to 2,000 kW, so an AC-130H also fills in about 100 seconds.
– Power is shared evenly between every vehicle that needs it.

Keep one in a vehicle’s inventory, and the vehicle charges from its company’s chargers up to 512 blocks away, losing 25% of the power on the way. Craft it from copper wire, circuit boards, steel and an SBW Battery Cell.

Airports

New Overworld chunks can generate an airport. Each has a dead-level (absurdly long, by the way) 5,000-block runway with markings and lights, taxiways, an apron with three Vehicle Chargers, hangars, a terminal and a control tower. The tower and hangars hold SBW blueprint loot.

There’s at most one airport per 6,144-block region. `/airport locate` finds the nearest. In ground explored before you installed the mod, operators can use `/airport build` to build one where they stand.
