Never accidentally hurt your furry friends again!

We’ve all been there. You’re fighting a zombie in a dark cave, your loyal dog jumps in to help, and bam… your sword sweeps and hits your own pet. The guilt is unbearable.

Safe Pets is a simple, lightweight Quality of Life (QoL) mod that completely disables “friendly fire” for your tamed animals. If you are the owner of the pet, your attacks will simply be canceled without dealing any damage to them.

Features:

Protects all your tamed and owned animals from your own attacks, including:

• Wolves (Dogs)
• Cats
• Parrots
• Horses, Donkeys, and Mules
• Llamas

Important Notes:

Only protects against YOU: This mod only stops the owner from hurting their pets. Monsters, lava, fall damage, and other players can still hurt them. Keep them safe!

Cross-platform: Built with Architectury API.

Available for both Forge and Fabric.

Multiplayer: If you are playing on a server, this mod needs to be installed on the server for the damage cancellation to work.
