Sable But I Want to Quit (SBIWQ)

What it do?

Basically it’s an addon mod that fixes the problem that causes Sable and Create: Aeronautics to sometimes hang on Saving and Quitting, forcing you to force quit the game.

How it do?

It uses some tech that another mod (Dungeon Train) uses, but extracted to work with Sable in its entirety. Basically Sable leaves PlotChunkHolder entries in vanilla’s ChunkMap.updatingChunkMap. Minecraft’s shutdown waits until hasWork() is false, those leftovers never clear, so you sit on “Saving world…” forever even though the world already saved.

What we do is on ServerStopping we pump Sable’s sub-level container briefly, remove ONLY PlotChunkHolders from the map, and then save, then clear the vanilla holders so the hasWork() function returns false, therefore allowing it to save correctly.

Disclaimer

This has a small chance of deleting ships theoretically (Though i havent encountered the situation myself yet), so do physics disassemble ships when possible still. This is just a quick fix mod for those just not wanting to deal with it. Just in Case though, this Title Screen comes pre-enabled with the pack, but can be easily disabled in the config.
