RW – Structures Awareness

Features:

Requires RoadWeaver from version 2.3.0 in order to work (RoadWeaver 2.3.0 forge version available on Modrinth).

This mod was created because RoadWeaver structure avoidness feature was not accurate enough for worlds with a lot of structures. This mod is an addon for RoadWeaver that fixes this, by modifing RoadWeaver with stricter checks, that forces roads to avoid paving through structures, as well as guarding them from being blocked by structures. With the addon, roads would now either re-route around structures, tunnel under them, or would be trimmed a couple of blocks before reaching any structure. As part of the mod main feature, i have also improved road generation so roads would connect better to each other and to structure destinations.

The mod is also configurable, such as to allow some structures to be placed on roads. Or with Zones – Grouped Structures included, to block roads inside specific zone types.

Compatibility with other mods:

The mod changes how RoadWeaver mod generates roads and guards them from structures, so this mod compatibility depends only by RoadWeaver compatibility.

You may use this mod or this mod code in any non-commercial project, as long as proper credit and a link to this mod’s page are provided.
