Rings of Saturn

274 rings, worn like moons around a world.

Rings of Saturn adds 274 rings for the Curios API ring slots. 

Each ring has its own animated texture, lore, power, particle and awakening sound. Virtues give freely. Sins give more, and always take something back.

Rings can’t be crafted. They’re found in structure chests: dungeons, temples, strongholds, ancient cities, End cities and more, including modded ruins and crypts.

At most two per chest, no rarity tiers. Any ring can be anywhere.

• Glowing containers: chests, barrels, shulkers and modded storage glow in the colours of the rings inside.
• Awakening: the first time you wear a ring, it plays its own sound and particle.
• Visible powers: dodges, reflected blows and refused deaths all show their effect.
• Unique designs: bands, signets, serpents, braids and crowns. No two alike.
• Always facing you: rings turn toward the viewer in hand, on the ground, in item frames and on heads.
• Compatible: bonuses stack with other mods’ items. Two copies of the same ring don’t.
• Creative tab and advancements: every ring in one tab, and an advancement tab tracking which you’ve found.

64 rings, one per named moon.

• Ring of Mimas: every 5 seconds, a hit removes 8% of the target’s max health.
• Hyperion’s Tumble: every wound rolls a d10. A 1 makes it worse, a 10 erases it.
• Pan’s Keeper Ring: a small moon of your own strikes the nearest monster.

12 rings from the ring divisions and the probes that crossed them.

• Roche Limit: tears at your foes, and at you.
• The Grand Finale: refuses death.

30 rings of the seven sins and the virtues that oppose them.

• Spire of Pride: +40% damage at full health; you take 20% more.
• Observatory of Hope: survive a fatal blow, once every ten minutes.

70 rings of power, wishes and curses.

• The One Ring: invisibility and regeneration, while the Eye looks for you.
• Ring of Three Wishes: refuses death three times, then turns to dust.

86 rings from the lands of fading fire and the shattered great ring.

• Calamity Ring: +40% damage dealt, double damage taken.
• The Ringed City: no single wound can take more than a quarter of your health.

12 rings of fairy circles, puzzles and poison.

• Ouroboros: rise again from death, fully healed.
• Puzzle Ring: falls apart if you take it off, and so do you.

274, the astronomers say. So far.

One ring was never meant to be found, and one has no number at all.

• general.curses: set it to false to keep the sins’ gifts without their curses.
• general.lootChanceMultiplier: multiplies every chest chance (0 removes rings from loot).
• rings.<ring>: disable any single ring. It loses its power and stops appearing in chests.
