A lightweight, server-authoritative quality-of-life patch that introduces a dedicated Keychain item for managing keys from the popular Supplementaries mod on Minecraft Forge 1.20.1.

In adventure, multiplayer, and roleplay modpacks featuring Supplementaries, players quickly accumulate multiple keys for locked doors, safes, netherite trapdoors, and personal lockblocks. Carrying individual keys clutters inventories and risks losing important keys on death.
Keychain for Supplementaries solves this clutter by offering a compact 9-slot ring. Even better: you do not need to take the keys out to use them. As long as the keychain is in your hand, inventory, or equipped in a Curios belt slot, your locked blocks and safes recognize the matching key instantly.

This version is an exploit-hardened, server-authoritative maintenance patch built specifically for stability on dedicated servers and heavy modpacks:
- Zero-Allocation Password Checks: Key verification now extracts passwords directly from NBT without instantiating full ItemStacks on every interaction, eliminating garbage collector spikes and server lag in busy multiplayer areas.
- Anti-Dupe & Desync Protection: Integrated with server-side container validation to guarantee that inventory actions cannot duplicate keys or desynchronize items.
- Recursive Storage Prevention: Strictly forbids storing keychains inside other keychains, preventing nested NBT recursion exploits.
- Clean Localization: Full native language support in English (
en_us) and Brazilian Portuguese (pt_br).

Crafting Recipe
Craft a Keychain in a crafting table using 8 Gold Nuggets surrounding 1 Iron Ingot:

How to Use
- Hold the Keychain in your main hand or offhand.
- Hold Shift and Right-Click in the air to open the Keychain menu.
- Place up to 9 Supplementaries keys inside.
- Close the menu. Now, whenever you interact with a locked Safe or Door matching any stored key, it will open automatically!
