ProMMO transforms a standard Minecraft server into a persistent MMORPG world with character progression, professions, dual-era gameplay, economy, cities, survival systems, technology, quests and modern multiplayer tools.

Choose the edition that fits your stack: Paper plugin, NeoForge mod, or Forge mod. Gameplay, hub GUI (/pm) and YAML configs stay consistent across editions.

Commands (admins)

/prommoadmin — reload, gui, reset, invsee, setlevel, addxp, setmoney, takemoney, heal, gm, tp, kick, ban, mute, season, cleanup, migratedb, createworld (Paper), and more.

Permission: operator / permission level 2 (prommo.admin on Paper).

Installation

1. Install Java 21+ and your chosen loader (Paper / NeoForge / Forge).

2. Drop the matching JAR into plugins/ (Paper) or mods/ (Forge/NeoForge).

3. Start the server once — configs appear under plugins/ProMMO/ or config/prommo/.

4. Join and create a character. Open /pm for the hub.

Default database is SQLite (zero setup). Switch to MySQL in config.yml for larger networks.

FAQ

Do players need the mod on their client?
No. Everything is server-side with vanilla GUIs. You can Play solo on the client two

Paper or NeoForge?
Same gameplay. Use Paper for plugin ecosystems, NeoForge/Forge for modded servers.

Can I migrate SQLite → MySQL?
Yes — /prommoadmin migratedb (with confirm). Kick all players first and keep a backup.

Is multiplayer safe?
Designed for multiplayer: separate characters, wallets, anti-abuse on bounties, persistent saves.
