Power Grid Railway Parallel

Power Grid Railway Parallel is an optional experimental performance companion for the unofficial Power Grid Railway Experiments fork. It runs eligible independent electrical networks on worker threads and waits for them to finish each tick.

Requires the Power Grid Railway Experiments Beta 1 or a compatible newer build, Minecraft 1.20.1 and Forge 47. This is not a standalone mod and is not compatible with the original Power Grid without the fork’s parallel-solver API. Install matching versions on client and server.

Only explicitly supported, independent networks are eligible. If any network is not safe for parallel execution, the current implementation keeps that world’s networks sequential. Small or single networks may see no speedup; performance depends on the world and hardware. Native solvers are not parallelized by this companion. Back up worlds and report problems while this experimental beta is under development.

Default worker count is at most four, adjustable with the JVM property -Dpowergrid.parallel.workers=N (1–16). Source license: Apache License 2.0; license is included in the JAR.
