Poly’s Juicy Ores

Blazing ore drops Blazing Gems and generates in the Nether.
Blazing items set the target on fire: 4 seconds with tools
and 8 seconds with the sword. In soul conditions (Soul Sand
Valley, or standing on or inside Soul Sand or Soul Soil) the
fire lasts longer: 6 and 12 seconds.

• The Blazing pickaxe and sword work like flint and steel:
right click to set blocks on fire.
• Blocks mined with Blazing tools drop their smelted result.
• The Blazing sword leaves a trail of fire between you and
your target.

Frosted ore drops Frosted Gems and generates in the
Overworld, in snowy and frozen biomes. Frosted items inflict
Frozen: 4 seconds with tools and 8 seconds with the sword,
and repeated hits add up. See “Freezing effect” below for
how it works.

Eating Frosted food grants 2 minutes of Chilled Out. You
take 25% less fire damage and 25% more freezing damage, and
any Slowness or Weakness you receive lasts 25% longer.

Toxic ore drops Toxic Gems and generates in the Overworld,
in swamps and mangrove swamps. Toxic items inflict Acid: 3
seconds with tools and 6 seconds with the sword. Acid is
similar to Poison, but much more lethal.

Levite ore drops Levite Gems and generates in the End,
between Y 10 and 70. Levite items inflict Levitation: 4
seconds with tools and 8 seconds with the sword, with a 4
second cooldown.

• Carrying Levite makes you lighter: every 16 Levite items
(gems in your hand plus Levite blocks in your inventory)
give you one more level of Slow Falling, up to level V.
• Holding 16 Levite blocks in your hand makes you levitate.
• Levite blocks can be dyed.

Gravite ore drops Gravite Gems and generates deep in the
Overworld, close to the bedrock layers (Y -64 to -40).
Gravite items launch the target up and forward, like a mix
of Knockback and the Iron Golem toss, with a 4 second
cooldown.

• Gravite items are heavy: they fall twice as fast, sink in
water and lava instead of floating, and barely travel or
slide when dropped.
• Dropped from a great height (8 blocks or more), they crack
the block where they land. The higher the drop and the more
items, the bigger the crack, and enough impacts break the
block. They cannot break blocks that need a higher mining
tier than Gravite, and the cracks heal on their own after
about 3 seconds without new impacts.

Holy ore drops Holy Gems and generates in the Overworld, in
sunflower plains and flower forests. Holy items deal extra
damage to skeletons, zombies and creepers (1.5 hearts) and
also apply 30 seconds of Weakness to them.

Frozen builds up with every Frosted hit. After 4 seconds of
it, player-sized targets are encased in a block of ice and
keep sliding with the momentum they had. While frozen they
cannot move, attack or use items, and a frozen player cannot
sleep.

• Players break the ice by jumping 3 times.
• Mobs thaw by themselves after a few seconds.
• Water and fire thaw anything instantly.
• Smaller and bigger entities are only slowed down.

Shine ores…
Turn the glow on or off for all ores with one switch, or for
each ore on its own: Blazing, Frosted, Toxic, Levite,
Gravite and Holy. Blazing and Toxic are on by default.

Ores…
Disable an ore completely. A disabled ore does not exist: no
blocks, no items, no recipes, no generation. Do not disable
ores in a world that already uses them.

Ore stats…
For each ore: hardness, blast resistance, veins per chunk
(multiplier), and the minimum and maximum XP dropped.

Tool stats…
For each set of tools: mining tier, mining speed, and extra
attack damage and attack speed on top of the base values.

Armed mobs
Chance, from 0 to 1, that a new zombie, skeleton or piglin
spawns with a tool. Default: 0.03.

Reset to defaults
Restores the stats of the ore or tool you are editing.
