Pixel Pumpkin Carving

Pixel Pumpkin Carving is a mod that expands pumpkin carving into a fully customizable process, letting you carve your own designs pixel by pixel.

Craft Uncarved Pumpkins, carve individual pixels with a Carving Knife, undo mistakes with Pumpkin Seeds, and light up your creations with compatible items. You can even wear your creations on your head!

Beyond pumpkins, the carving system can be configured to support any block type. Carving a configred block converts it to a carvable block, and fully removing the carving restores the original block. Add carvable melons, clay, logs, anything is possible!

Features

• Craft Uncarved Pumpkins from a pumpkin and four Pumpkin Seeds
• Revert uncarved pumpkins to vanilla pumpkins using Shears
• Carve individual pixels using the Carving Knife
• Undo individual pixels using Pumpkin Seeds
• Restore the orignal block when all carved pixels are removed
• Add the vanilla pumpkin face using Shears
• Turn carvable pumpkins into lit carvable pumpkins with custom coloring using compatible torches
• Extinguish lit carvable pumpkins using a Shovel
• Wear your carvable pumpkins with a matching screen mask

Pixel pumpkin carving includes built-in compatability with a few mods:

• Beast Slayer: Weeping Torches can be inserted into Carvable Pumpkins and Carvable Jack O’ Lanterns
• Deeper Depths: Copper Torches can be inserted into Carvable Pumpkins and Carvable Jack O’ Lanterns
• End Expansion: Cordium Torches can be inserted into Carvable Pumpkins and Carvable Jack O’ Lanterns
• Unseen’s Nether Backport: Soul Torches can be inserted into Carvable Pumpkins and Carvable Jack O’ Lanterns
• Oceanic Expanse: Underwater Torches can be inserted into Carvable Pumpkins and Carvable Jack O’ Lanterns
• Pale Bloom: Pale Pumpkins can be carved into Pale Carvable Pumpkins and Pale Carvable Jack O’ Lanterns

Configuration

Pixel pumpkin carving is designed to be highly customizable, with every carvable pumpkin type and jack o’ lantern lighting item being defined through the config.

Pumpkin Types

• Register adiditonal carvable blocks and their lit variant
• Configure the colors used when carving
• Define which existing blocks convert into carvable blocks. Multiple blocks can share a pumpkin type, and the original block is restored when the carving is fully cleared

Jack o’ Lantern Lighting

• Register lighting items
• Define custom jack o’ lantern colors for each lighting item

Configuration changes can be reloaded in-game, except for pumpkin type registration. This makes Pixel Pumpkin Carving adaptable to modpack with new block types or lighting items.
