PickupLantern

Pickup Lanterns adds a simple quality-of-life interaction for placed lanterns: shift + right-click any lantern in the world to pick it up directly into your hand — no breaking, no item drops bouncing around, no waiting for it to land in your inventory.

Vanilla lanterns can be a pain to reposition. You place one, realize it’s in the wrong spot, and end up breaking it with your fist like some kind of animal. This mod fixes that with a single intuitive interaction that feels like it should have been in the base game.

Features:

Shift + right-click a lantern to pick it up instantly
Works with both Lantern and Soul Lantern
Lantern goes directly into your main hand (or off-hand if main hand is occupied)
Holding a lantern in your off-hand won’t accidentally place it when you pick one up
Server-side safe — works in multiplayer
