A client-side Fabric 1.21.11 PvP visualization mod.

Features

• Places a camera-facing diamond at the exact point on every other combat-capable player’s hitbox that is closest to your eye position. Rotating the crosshair alone does not move the marker.
• Fills the diamond when the target is inside your held weapon’s real attack range. The diamond remains hollow outside that range.
• Uses the threat color when any part of your hitbox intersects the distance band reachable from the other player’s eye position. Their crosshair direction does not affect this state.
• Tints only the portions of each target hitbox surface that fall inside your held weapon’s effective attack-distance band.
• Respects normal world depth. Markers and hitbox surfaces do not render through walls.

Attack range follows Minecraft 1.21.11’s AttackRangeComponent, including held-weapon minimum and maximum reach, creative reach, and hitbox margin. The display updates immediately when either player changes weapons.

Requirements

• Minecraft 1.21.11
• Fabric Loader 0.19.3 or newer
• Fabric API
• Cloth Config 21.11.153 or newer
• Mod Menu 17.0.0 or newer (optional; provides the in-game configuration entry)

This mod is client-only and does not need to be installed on a server. Without Mod Menu, edit config/perfect-aiming-position-indicator.json manually.

The renderer excludes the local player, spectators, dead players, removed players, and invisible players.
