Patchwork totems is a mod that brings back the functionality of Vanilla totems, Ender Pearls and Protection books back into Vault Hunters and other modpacks which may disable the items. We know many players who prefer to play these harder modpacks with more ease than the modpacks themselves grant, and so this mod allows you to play with those accommodations. Take a vanilla totem and patch it up in the sewing machine and it will work in the Vault (or anywhere else it’s been disabled). Same with Ender Pearls. For the protection books, craft up a protection pattern in a crafting table with vanilla ingredients, and sew it up with the sewing machine to make yourself the enchanted book, which then can be applied to your armour (including vault gear).

We’ve extensively play tested this and it didn’t remove any of the enjoyability of the game for us. It Just allowed for more ease in playing. Great for folks with higher anxiety, but who want to dip their toes into high stress environments like The Vaults.
