Palladium Optimizer

Play your favorite superhero addons without the lag.

Palladium addons like Echoes of Power, FSang18’s Heroes, Satsu Iron Man Addon, Alien Evo, Into The Omniverse, A New Corps, Powerborne and more are awesome, but when you stack them in a large modpack, things start to slow down: long loading screens, FPS drops, laggy servers and high memory usage.

Palladium Optimizer quietly fixes the heaviest parts behind the scenes, so you can keep all your powers and lose the lag.

🛡️ Nothing changes in your game. Every optimization does exactly the same thing as before, just faster. If another mod or an addon update touches something it relies on, that optimization simply switches itself off and the game runs normally.

✨ What you get

⚡ A smoother server

Big Palladium addons store a lot of hidden data on every player, mob and item, and some datapacks check that data many times every tick. Palladium Optimizer skips the unnecessary work while giving the exact same results.

In a 460-mod test pack, server tick time dropped from 55.5 ms to 24.9 ms, bringing it back to a stable 20 TPS.

It also speeds up a few addon scripts that were scanning the entire world every tick (Echoes of Power and A New Corps), and makes power and recipe data much faster to look up and save.

🖥️ Better FPS

Many addons draw their HUDs with scripts that ran every single frame, even if you didn’t have that power. Now each HUD only runs when you actually have the power that uses it. Your screen looks exactly the same, you just get more frames.

Works with HUDs from FSang18’s Heroes, Into The Omniverse, Alien Evo, Omni Evo and Satsu Iron Man Addon.

Bonus for A New Corps: Lantern rings no longer leave a cloud of smoke particles while flying, which means less clutter and better performance. All the other ring effects stay. Miss the smoke? You can turn it back on in the config.

🚀 Faster loading

Palladium used to rebuild the same resources over and over during startup. With big addons like Satsu Iron Man Addon, that could add up to about 30 extra seconds of loading. Now it’s done once and reused.

💾 Less memory used

Minecraft keeps every structure piece it has ever loaded in memory until you close the world. With lots of structure mods, that can reach hundreds of MB. Palladium Optimizer frees up pieces that aren’t being used, and if one is needed again, it’s reloaded exactly the same. Structures you build in-game are never touched.

⚙️ Settings

Everything works out of the box, but you can adjust things if you want:

`config/eoptickfix-structures.properties`	Structure memory limit and how long unused pieces are kept
`config/eoptickfix-lanterns.properties`	Lantern flight smoke (`remove_flight_smoke=false` to bring it back)

The structure memory feature needs ModernFix with mixin.perf.dynamic_structure_manager=false.

KubeJS 2001.6+
Install it on both client and server for the full benefit.

❓ FAQ

Will it change how my powers or the game work? No. Everything works exactly as before. If an optimization can’t guarantee that, it turns itself off.

Do I need all the addons listed here? No. Each improvement only kicks in when the addon it’s made for is installed.

Can I use it in my modpack? Of course, go for it!
