When making the mod name, i just called it “Ourmod” because i was gonna play it with only my friends, but now i have to release it and uhh..
WELCOME TO OURMOD! The biggest mod i’ve created so far.
This mod adds (and is more known from) the Dirtmension, a dimension which, if you couldn’t tell already, is made of dirt. It has a ton of new resources, blocks, items, and soon, mobs! It isn’t exactly clear how to escape it in the mod itself, so if you need help here’s a quick guide.
Dirtmension Guide (Spoiler)
If you’re stuck on how to make wood tools (Since scrap wood doesn’t make wood tools as of right now), you can make a dirt pickaxe using dirt and sticks. Then use that pickaxe to upgrade. Sifters are important to getting out of the dirtmension as they’re needed to get Grass, Logs, Leaves, and other stuff. You can make a sifter with the following recipe.
To get Cobblestone, craft it with a sediment gem and 2 dirt.
As for string, you can get it by using Shears on polluted sand.
To get iron, eat enough Scrap Apples to get iron nuggets, Once you get the sifter, you can use that to get more iron nuggets from scrap apples.
Combine Dirt and Polluted Sand to make Polluted Grass
You can use this crafting recipe to sift Polluted Grass and make a regular Grass Block.
You can combine Iron and Stone to make Iron Ore, and you can combine Coal (so far just charcoal) and Stone to make Coal Ore.
You’ll need 5 Gritstone Ingots, 2 Sediment ore, and 2 Rotrock Dust to make a Console, you can craft a Console like this
Then craft an overworld key using 4 overworld key shards, you can craft all 4 with these recipes
Craft an overworld key by combining all 4 pieces together
Then put the overworld key in the console and wait!
This mod was really fun (and stressful) to make, and although it does require a lot of grinding, it’s pretty fun nonetheless. There are multiple different gamerules to make the mod suit your needs, and more are coming!
Q&A
Will you port it to (version/loader)?
No, this was made using Mcreator and there’s no new forge plugins for future versions out yet. Porting to another loader just doesn’t work, so only forge for OurMod.
What do you think the final release will be?
Probably 2.5.0, the actual first release will be once the item + block count equals about 150.
Will you add (feature)?
Depends on what it is, I’ll make a discord soon so you can suggest features to be added.
Why the name “Ourmod”?
As stated earlier, i was just gonna play this with my friends, so i named it “Ourmod” because, it’s our mod. A name change is possible.
(Item/Block) isn’t craftable or doesn’t work.
This mod is in a beta phase, some stuff doesn’t serve a purpose or can’t be made.
The “beta phase” will be over very soon, however, as 0.2.0 (next update) should have more than 150 items + blocks, meaning it should be the first release.

OurMod 支持 Minecraft Java 版 1.20.1，可用的加载器：Forge。下载时注意选择和你游戏版本一致的文件。
OurMod 怎么安装？
先用 PCL2 或 HMCL 启动器安装对应版本的 Forge，再把下载的 .jar 文件放进游戏目录的 mods 文件夹，重新启动游戏即可。开启了版本隔离的，mods 文件夹在 versions/版本名 下面。运行环境：客户端和服务端都要装。
