Ocean’s Delight: Classic Edition brings the seafood-focused Farmer’s Delight addon to Minecraft Forge 1.7.10 and 1.12.2, expanding survival cooking with new aquatic ingredients, recipes, and culinary experiences.

From freshly prepared fish to hearty seafood meals, Ocean’s Delight introduces more ways to make use of the ocean’s resources.

Whether you’re establishing a coastal settlement, gathering supplies for an expedition, or expanding your survival kitchen, Ocean’s Delight gives you more reasons to explore the water.

Farmer’s Delight Compatibility

Ocean’s Delight supports two Farmer’s Delight implementations on Minecraft 1.12.2:

• Farmer’s Delight: Classic Edition — Our multiversion implementation.
• Farmer’s Delight Legacy by xuanyu — An independent 1.12.2 port.

Only one Farmer’s Delight implementation is required. Install a compatible version for your Minecraft release.

Universal Adaptive Backporter Integration (1.7.10 & 1.12.2)

Optional integration with Universal Adaptive Backporter (UAB) restores additional original recipes requiring modern aquatic content.

• Kelp & Dried Kelp: Supports Stuffed Cod and other seafood recipes.
• Sea Pickles: Enables applicable original aquatic food recipes.
• Honey: Supports honey-based seafood preparations when their ingredients are available.
• Guardians & Elder Guardians: Supports original ingredient acquisition and knife-based processing.
• Glow Squid: Expands compatible aquatic ingredient processing.
• Aquatic Compatibility: Recognizes supported UAB resources without duplicating world generation.

UAB is optional. Recipes automatically respect ingredient availability and disabled features while preserving original cooking requirements.

Recipe Scripting (1.7.10 & 1.12.2)

Added optional MineTweaker 3 (1.7.10) and CraftTweaker 2 (1.12.2) compatibility through Farmer’s Delight Classic Edition.

• Add, remove, or replace Cooking Pot, Cutting Board, and Skillet/Stove recipes.
• Customize ingredients, outputs, cooking times, and processing requirements.
• Supports Ore Dictionary ingredients, metadata, and NBT.
• Compatible with Farmer’s Delight’s shared recipe scripting APIs.

Note: The alternative 1.12.2 Farmer’s Delight Legacy implementation uses its own scripting APIs.
