Nydo NPC Jutsus

Give your Custom NPCs real NydoMod jutsus. Open any NPC with the NPC Wand, go to the Inventory tab and click the new Jutsus button. Pick jutsus by element, save, and the NPC will cast them in combat.

Features

• Jutsu tab inside the NPC Wand (Inventory screen): elements grouped into Basic Natures, Kekkei Genkai and Other, with a checkbox per jutsu, its rank and chakra cost.
• Automatic jutsu list: the list is read straight from NydoMod, so new jutsus from NydoMod updates show up on their own.
• Real chakra: each NPC has its own chakra pool (configurable max, 5000 by default). Jutsus cost chakra, and chakra regenerates over time (faster out of combat).
• Charged jutsus: NPCs charge chargeable jutsus for 2–5 seconds, just like a player holding the button.
• Natural combat: the NPC slows down, turns to its target, casts, and then waits for the jutsu cooldown. Its normal Custom NPCs attacks keep working.
• Rasengan: the NPC holds it in its off-hand and runs to hit you. The original off-hand item is always given back.
• Mounts (Wood Golem, Thousand-Armed Buddha, Eight-Headed Snake): the NPC pilots them, walks to its target and attacks. The mount has health and can be killed; after that the NPC waits 5 minutes before summoning it again.
• Selections are saved inside the NPC: they survive restarts, the Cloner and Soul Stones.

How to use

1. Right-click an NPC with the NPC Wand.
2. Open the Inventory tab and click Jutsus (top-right).
3. Pick an element on the left, tick the jutsus on the right, set Max chakra and click Save.
4. Fight the NPC (it needs a target, e.g. hit it in Survival).

Tips: Sand (Jiton) jutsus need the Gourd in the NPC’s chestplate slot, the same rule as for players. Blade jutsus (Flame Slice, Wind Chakra Flow) work best when the NPC holds a sword. Hover over a grey jutsu to see why it is not available.

Not available for NPCs

• Jutsus that NydoMod itself marks as NPC-incompatible (continuous chakra, taijutsu styles, clones, transformation/armor/flight states).
• Sage Mode Rasengan and Minato’s Living Mark.
• The Adamantine Staff "block" mode (it is a weapon mode, not a castable jutsu).
• Jutsus that need a very long charge (e.g. Kirin, Earth Golem, Rasenshuriken): NPCs try them and stop after 3 failed attempts.

Requirements

• Minecraft 1.20.1 with Forge 47+
• NydoMod 5.0+
• Custom NPCs (1.20.1 port)

Install it on both the client and the server.

Credits

NydoMod inspired to Ahnzb, and Custom NPCs to Noppes (1.20.1 port by its respective porter). This addon includes no code or assets from either mod: it only works alongside them when both are installed.
