NewTech Generators is a technical framework designed for modpack creators who demand total control and peak server performance. Forget “magic blocks” that lag your world; NewTech provides a robust, scalable energy infrastructure built for the modern 1.12.2 modding scene.

🛠 The Modpacker’s Philosophy: Total Creative Freedom

We provide the logic; you provide the balance. NewTech Generators is a “blank canvas” mod:

Zero Default Recipes: No built-in crafting recipes. We strictly recommend using CraftTweaker or ContentTweaker to integrate these machines into your pack’s unique progression.
JSON-First Configuration: Every value—from base FE/t and internal buffers to custom fuel types and upgrade multipliers—is controlled via centralized, null-safe JSON files.

🔗 The Solar Grid System (New!)

Version 2.5 introduces the Intelligent Solar Grid. No more messy cabling for every single panel:

Chained Networks: Solar panels now intelligently connect to adjacent panels of the same tier.
Shared Buffers: A connected grid pools its energy production and storage into a single virtual network.
Single-Point Output: You only need one cable/conduit to extract power from an entire farm.
Scalability: Supports up to 14 panels per grid (configurable), allowing for massive, low-lag solar arrays.

Stop guessing where your energy is going. Our revamped UI provides “Industrial-Grade” feedback:

Real-Time I/O Tracking: Tooltips now show Actual Output vs. Max Output. Instantly identify if your cables are a bottleneck or if your machines are idle.
Dynamic Upgrades: Hover over machines to see exactly how your Flux Overdrive and Capacity Upgrades are affecting stats in real-time.
Simultaneous Solar Upgrades: Solar Generators now feature 3 upgrade slots, allowing you to run Capacity, Flux, and Solar Night modules at the same time.
