NefAuth – Simple Login & Register for NeoForge

A lightweight, secure, and server-only authentication mod designed for NeoForge 1.21.1.

Perfect for large modpacks like All the Mods (ATM) running in offline mode (online-mode=false) to prevent unauthorized access and account theft.

Features

• Server-Only: Players do not need to install this mod on their clients. Just drop it into the server’s mods folder.
• Secure Hashing: Password protection using secure hashing algorithms (no plain-text passwords stored).
• Session Management: Prevents players from moving, chatting, or executing commands before logging in.
• NeoForge Native: Built specifically for NeoForge 1.21.1, ensuring maximum compatibility without the need for buggy hybrid server jars (like Arclight/Mohist).

Commands

• /register <password> <confirmPassword> – Register a new account.
• /login <password> – Log into your account.
• /changepassword <oldPassword> <newPassword> – Change your current password.

Installation & Setup

1. Download the .jar file for NeoForge 1.21.1.
2. Place it into your server’s mods directory.
3. Restart the server.

Passwords are saved in the usernamecache.json file.
