Mutationcraft

Mutationcraft adds a mutant outbreak to Minecraft.

Hello Mutationcraft lovers! I’m Sxilverr, the new owner of Mutationcraft (the former author is ASEStefan).

I have big plans for this mod, which includes a huge overhaul in the future. Right now, I have released the “Mutationcraft Legacy” which is the fixed version of the classic mod before the overhaul comes, so you can still play and enjoy the original!! 😀

Outbreak System:

Every world has an outbreak timer that counts up overtime. At first only Miters will roam around. As the timer goes higher, stronger tiers of mutants start spawning:

• Common: Assimilated Villagers, Pillagers, Witches, Wandering Traders, Humans and Roamers, assimilated animals (pigs, cows, sheep, horses, donkeys, wolves, foxes, bears, spiders), Assimilated Jockeys and Rotten Skeletons. Assimilated Piglins spawn in the Nether.
• Parasites: Necroptors and Reductors.
• Advanced: Human Stages 1 to 3, the Assimilated Enderman, the Assimilated Evoker and the Carnivorae.
• Elite: the Assimilated Creeper, the Flayer, the Parasitic Ram and Roller, and Light and Medium Hooks.
• Bosses: the Corrosion Queen, the Human Herder, the Resenter, the Parasitic Shooter and the Heavy Hook.

The stage (0 to 4) sets how early each tier unlocks. You can change it with /mutationcraft stage or the config.

Spreading infection and Evolving:

• Mobs and players killed by mutants are converted into mutants.
• Mutagen Sickness turns mobs into mutants when it runs out or when they are killed.
• Human Stages evolve into the next stage over time.
• Assimilated Humans become Flayers after killing 5 Skeletons, and Necroptors become Reductors after killing 5 Zombies.
• Hooks grow from Light to Medium to Heavy hooks.
• Interacting with a Rotten Skeleton spawns The Intoxicator.

Mutants are hostile to every other creature.

Hazmats:

Hazmat Guards, Leaders, Medics and Flamethrowers patrol the Overworld with Scientists, and Hazmat Helicopters drop in more of them. They hunt mutants, so they can be good allies, or not.

Gear:

• Infected weapons: the Rapier, Battle Axe, Nordic Axe, Pole Axe, Halberd, Cavalry Sword and Flanged Mace.
• Flamethrower: runs on furnace fuel, overheats if you hold the trigger too long, and sets mutants on fire. Burning mutants take double damage.
• Special items: the Fang Staff, Necroptor Bomb, Poisoned Orb, Assimilated Ender Pearl, Mutagen Serum and Totem of Immunity.
• Armor: Metal and Rusted Metal armor.
• Mutation Bane: an enchantment that deals extra damage to mutants.
• Effects: Bleeding, Corrosion, Severen, Rage, Mutagen Sickness, Sign of Fire and Magic Exhaustion.

Config and Commands:

The config file lets you change mob stats, spawns, stages, evolution, items, and more. The /mutationcraft command covers stage, time, pause, resume, reset, infect, cure, count and purge.
