Mouse Drop Fix

Mouse Drop Fix is a lightweight client-side Fabric mod that fixes Minecraft’s long-standing issue where the Drop key does not function inside inventory screens when it is bound to a mouse button. With this mod installed, players can bind their Drop key to buttons such as the middle mouse button and drop items directly from inventories as expected. The mod only affects inventory input handling and does not modify gameplay, world data, or server compatibility.
