Moonlight Lib — Forge Port

This is an unofficial Forge port of Moonlight Lib (Selene) by MehVahdJukaar (Supplementaries Team). Moonlight is a shared library/API used by Supplementaries and many other mods — it adds no content on its own.

What it provides

• Dynamic data pack and resource pack generation at runtime
• Data-driven registries: wood/block sets, soft fluids, map markers, trades and villager schedules
• Config system with the native Moonlight config screen
• Networking, fake levels/players and other utilities used by dependent mods
• Forge-side integrations: global loot modifiers, custom recipe conditions and ingredients, capability helpers

Supported versions

Only Forge builds are published in this project. Every file lists its exact Minecraft and Forge versions — pick the file that matches your modpack. Do not mix Forge builds with the official NeoForge or Fabric builds of Moonlight.

Installation

1. Install Minecraft Forge for the version listed on the file you download.
2. Drop the jar into your mods folder (client and server).
3. No additional dependencies are required — MixinExtras is bundled inside the jar.

Compatibility

• Environment: client and server — both sides must use the same build.
• Usually installed as a dependency of other mods; on its own it changes nothing visible.
• Only one loader build of Moonlight may be installed at a time.
