Dynamic gun rarity — a ModularShoot × RarityCore integration mod (1.21.1 / NeoForge)

ModularRarity bridges ModularShoot‘s plugin system with RarityCore: when a plugin is installed on a gun, the gun’s rarity changes in real time with the plugin’s bonus.

How It Works

I. Gun base rarity and plugin rarity bonuses are both declared via the modularrarity:rarity key in extra_values.

II. On plugin install/uninstall, the sum of modularrarity:rarity across the gun and its plugins is computed, and the rarity-control component is written or removed accordingly.

• ModularShoot ≥ 0.1.3
• RarityCore ≥ 1211.14.5

For Developers

Declaring extra_values in a ModularShoot datapack definition is all it takes — no code needed:
