Modern Content Backport

Modern Mobs Backport is a Forge 1.20.1 mod focused on bringing selected mobs, weapons, mounts, mechanics, and gameplay changes from newer versions of Minecraft back to 1.20.1.

The goal is not just to recreate how newer content looks. Wherever possible, the mod tries to preserve the original vanilla behavior as closely as the 1.20.1 engine allows — including spawning rules, AI, animations, combat calculations, equipment, jockey behavior, advancements, interactions, sounds, and also future bug fixed mechanic.

Modpack usage is allowed. Reuploading, redistributing, selling, or claiming this mod as your own is not permitted.
This is an unofficial fan-made project and is not affiliated with Mojang Studios or Microsoft.

**Content this mod adds:

*Nautilus Family along with jockey, along with the breeding, riding and also nautilus armor functions

*Breeze with breeze rod, wind charge, heavy core, and mace

*Camel Husk(jockey)

*Parched

*Bogged

*Zombie Horse(modern behavior)

Everything in this mod is configurable to be on or off, zombie horse texture can use build in resource pack to have legacy texture before 1.21.11

Notes: I also backported some bugfixes from modern minecraft, be sure to verify config before report bugs:

Leader zombie health fix(default off), mounts float on the water, using riptide trident while ride on nautilus damages it

Future Development:

Will be supporting spears along with all jockey related feature, and probably new potions recipe and effects if didn’t took so long on spear

I will be try to make a compat with other trial mod, but stays as planned (currently trial content in this mod has no way to obtain in survival)

I will not be backporting wind charge interation with redstone stuff, too complicated for now
