MeNOTby1’s Nextbots

MeNOTby1’s Nextbots is an advanced Nextbot mod developed for Minecraft 1.21.5 using Fabric API. It brings Garry’s Mod style Nextbot mechanics into Minecraft.

Features

• Multiplayer support (v0.2.1 and later)
• Dynamic AI Tracking: Nextbots detect the target player from anywhere on the map and move directly towards them.
• Door Breaking Mechanic: Nextbots break down doors and wooden obstacles in their path accompanied by custom sound effects.
• Dynamic Screen Shake: Screen shaking intensity increases proportionally as the Nextbot gets closer to the player.
• Custom Skin & Speed Configuration: Add custom Nextbots with any image URL from the web, and set custom speed values.
• Anti-Stuck System: If a Nextbot gets stuck on terrain for too long, it automatically teleports near the target player.
• World-Bound Configuration: Registered Nextbots are saved per-world in a local nextbots.json file.

Command Usage

All administrative commands require permission level 2 or higher.

1. Registering a Nextbot:
   /nextbot add <id> <name> <nametag: on/off> <speed> <image_url>
   Example: /nextbot add 1 Obunga off 1.5 https://example.com/obunga.png

2. Spawning a Nextbot:

   • At your current location: /nextbot spawn <id>
   • At specific coordinates: /nextbot spawn <id> <x y z>

3. Listing Registered Nextbots:
   /nextbot list

4. Cleanup Commands:

   • Clear Nextbots with a specific ID: /nextbot kill <id>
   • Clear all Nextbots from the world: /nextbot killall
   • Remove Nextbot entry from world registry: /nextbot remove <id>

5. Debug Mode:
   /nextbot debug <on/off>
