Mark’s Corruption adds a living, spreading decay system to the game world. Instead of a static environment, the world actively fights back, forcing you to change how you survive, explore, and build.

Features

• Active Corruption Spread: The decay doesn’t just sit there. It uses custom spreading algorithms to infect adjacent blocks and expand over time based on the environment.

• Biome & Block Transformation: Once infected, areas completely change. Biomes get custom textures, eerie ambient effects, and new block properties.

• Mutated Mobs: Normal entities that wander into corrupted zones transform, gaining buffed stats, new behaviors, and unique loot drops.

• Threat Tiers: The system tracks how close you are to the source, scaling up environmental hazards, visual distortions, and audio cues the deeper you go.

How It Changes Gameplay

• No More Safe Zones: Because the corruption spreads, your base isn’t safe forever. A reliable resource spot today could be a war zone tomorrow, forcing you to adapt and keep moving.

• High-Risk, High-Reward Exploration: The best new loot and mutated drops are locked deep inside the worst parts of the decay. You have to constantly weigh the risk of going in against the safety of staying out.

• Genuine Tension: The visual filters, altered audio, and aggressive mutated mobs build actual pressure the further you push into infected territory.

• A New Strategic Layer: Survival isn’t just about managing hunger or armor anymore. You have to actively figure out how to contain, outrun, or push back against the spreading code.

i suggest going into creative and placing down the corrupted hive to not wait and start your infection ! this mod is still in beta versions so expect bugs!
