Mama’s Herbs and Harvest

Mama’s Herbs and Harvest is a farming mod which is also the base for the recipes in Mama’s Minis such as MerryMaking and Happy Hallows. There are 32 growable crops, grapes, 8 fruit-bearing trees, and 14 herbs. The “Pantry Update”, which adds new blocks, items, and food, was released in early February of 2026.

There is a produce basket for decoration and very light storage. These also work with vanilla fruits/vegetables, with the exception of melons and pumpkins. The herbs can be placed in a pot once they have grown to maturity and harvested. 

The seeds or plantable crop item can be found in chests throughout the overworld–inside villages, dungeons, shipwrecks, and abandoned mineshafts.  The trees grow naturally in every biome; look for a rounded small tree that has leaves slightly darker than dark oak.

The baskets are crafted with 4 bamboo, 2 on top and 2 on the bottom, similar to a polished stone or brick layout. The recipe should automatically show up once you have bamboo in your inventory. When a basket is placed, use the fruit/veggie/grain item on it to place one in the basket. You’ll see it as the basket fills up. Each one can hold 8 produce of a single type. To remove your produce from the basket, right-click with an empty hand.
