Introduction

Logistics Network Plus is a feature expansion for Logistics Network, introducing brand-new transfer types, enhanced GUI interface functionalities, and performance optimizations.

✨ New Transfer Types

• 🌿 Botania Mana — Mana transfer for Botania
• 🔮 IF Soul — Soul transfer for Industrial Foregoing
• ♨️ Mekanism Heat — Heat transfer for Mekanism

⚡ New Upgrades & Items

• Mana Upgrade / Soul Upgrade / Heat Upgrade: Unlock the corresponding transfer type. Nodes must have the matching upgrade installed to participate in that type of transfer.
• Eternal Upgrade: ⚡ All channels operate at 1 tick intervals + unlimited transfer capacity (subject to safety limits, see below). This is the ultimate logistics network experience.
• Universal Node: An upgraded logistics node that can transfer all types without needing any functional upgrades, simplifying large-scale network construction.

🧩 Open Extension API

This mod provides a complete API for adding new transfer types. Through the mod’s API, creating a new type automatically integrates node transfer scheduling, placement validation, node GUIs, upgrade tooltips, configuration GUIs, and more.

🚀 Performance Optimizations

Optimizations tailored for large logistics networks:

• Simulation Result Caching: Reuses simulation results from the same tick when the target state remains unchanged.
• Item Key Caching: Reuses AE2 item keys for identical item variants, avoiding redundant component hashing.
• Per-Tick Item Rate Limit (item transfer only; configurable, default 1,000,000/tick): Since the mod adds infinite-transfer upgrades, a rate limit is provided to prevent game freezes caused by excessively large item transfers.
• AE2 Bulk Insertion: For compatible AE2 targets, uses bulk insertion paths with grouped single-tick insertions, reducing redundant item key construction and slot scanning.
• Sophisticated Storage Optimization: Special compatibility optimizations for Sophisticated Storage.

🖥️ GUI Enhancements

• Unit Input: Batch input supports k / m / g suffixes (e.g., 2.1g = 2.1 billion), eliminating the need to type long numbers.
• Network Management GUI Enhancement: Adds a scrollbar to the network management interface, allowing it to display up to 5 networks at once.
