Lily Bloom

Lily Bloom adds blooming lily pads in four colors with bloom stages, giant 4×4 lily pads with a big flower, and a Water Lily flower you can cut off them, plant on the ground or put in a flower pot.

Install it on both the server and every client. Requires Fabric API.

Features

• Four colors: pink, white, yellow and blue. Each color is its own block and item, like vanilla tulips.
• Bloom stages: a lily pad first grows a bud, then a half-open bud, then the full bloom.
• Bone meal a lily pad, by hand or from a dispenser, and it starts a bud of a random color. Each more bone meal moves it one stage further.
• Pick the color you want: right-click a plain lily pad with a Water Lily of that color and it blooms right away.
• Lily pads bloom on their own, rarely, in daylight under the open sky: first a bud, which then slowly opens. Ponds in worlds you already explored get flowers too, not only new chunks. At most 3 budding or blooming pads grow on their own in a 7×3×7 area, so ponds never fill up with flowers.
• World generation: blooming lily pads of all colors and stages appear in swamps and mangrove swamps in newly generated chunks.
• Blooming Lily Pad is its own block, not a block state of the vanilla lily pad. It sits on water like a normal lily pad and boats break it. A full bloom drops itself, a bud drops a plain lily pad.
• Shears cut the flower off a fully open lily pad, by hand or from a dispenser. You get a Water Lily of that color and the plain lily pad stays on the water.
• Water Lily is a normal flower. Plant it on grass, dirt or moss, or put it in a flower pot. Craft it into pink, white, yellow or light blue dye, or use it for suspicious stew (Water Breathing). It burns like other flowers, is compostable, and bees like it.
• 32x and 64x textures: the mod has its own textures in the style of Faithful. They switch on by themselves when your resource pack makes the vanilla lily pad 32x or 64x (Faithful 32x, Faithful 64x and similar packs). The leaf of a blooming lily pad always uses the lily pad texture of your resource pack, so it matches the lily pads around it. Lily Bloom is not affiliated with the Faithful team; its HD textures are drawn for this mod.

Giant Lily Pad

• A 4×4 round leaf with an upturned rim, after the Amazon water lily. Craft it from 8 lily pads around a bone meal, or find it in swamps and mangrove swamps.
• Place it on water like a lily pad (it needs 4×4 free water).
• It grows a big flower in the same four colors and stages: bone meal, a Water Lily on the leaf, or on its own in daylight. Shears cut 2 Water Lilies off an open flower.
• Break any part and the whole leaf breaks, dropping itself once.

How to get

Config

The server reads config/lilybloom.json:

• naturalBlooming (default true): lily pads grow buds and buds open on their own
• budChance (default 150): chance 1 in N per random tick that a lily pad grows a bud
• growChance (default 20): chance 1 in N per random tick that a bud moves to the next stage (about 20 minutes per stage near a player)
• maxBloomingNearby (default 3): limit for natural buds in a 7×3×7 area, 0 turns the limit off
• onlyDuringDay (default true): buds appear and grow only in daytime
• worldGeneration (default true): generate blooming and giant lily pads in new swamp chunks
• hdTextures (client, default auto): auto follows your resource pack, 32x or 64x always uses that set, off leaves the “Lily Bloom 32x/64x” packs to you

Compatibility

Minecraft 26.3, Fabric Loader 0.19+, Fabric API, Java 25. Required on both client and server, because the mod adds new blocks and items. Works with Carpet and Carpet Extra.

• Нужный цвет: ПКМ цветком кувшинки этого цвета по обычной кувшинке.
• Кувшинки изредка сами пускают бутоны днём под открытым небом, в том числе в уже сгенерированном мире. Не больше 3 в области 7×3×7.
• Генерируются в болотах и мангровых болотах в новых чанках — все цвета и стадии.
• Ножницы срезают цветок с распустившейся кувшинки, обычная кувшинка остаётся на воде.
• Цветок кувшинки сажается на землю и в горшок, крафтится в розовый, белый, жёлтый или голубой краситель.
• Текстуры 32x и 64x в стиле Faithful встроены в мод и включаются сами, если ресурспак делает обычную кувшинку 32x или 64x (Faithful 32x/64x и похожие). Лист цветущей кувшинки берётся из текущего ресурспака.
• Настройки: config/lilybloom.json (на сервере; hdTextures — на клиенте).
