The world has gone dark. Your LiDAR scanner is all you have. Something is hiding in the points.

About

Minecraft turns pitch black. The only way to see is a LiDAR scanner: every scan paints walls, caves and trees as glowing points that slowly fade. Normal sight doesn’t work anymore, so you will never see the Entity with your own eyes. It only shows up in the scans. Sometimes far away. Sometimes right behind you.

Four scan modes: local scan, full sweep, 360° scan and a debugger that checks your scans for corrupted data
12 upgrade cards: Memory, Perception (from monochrome to full texture color), Speed and Coverage
The Entity, a 4.65-block-tall creature visible only to the scanner
Over 60 encounters: it watches, peeks around corners, hides under the ceiling, rewrites your scan memory and sometimes chases you

The world gets worse every day: mobs disappear, water and lava go silent, sounds start to distort
Vanilla music is gone, an optional VHS filter is on F8
Multiplayer: every player gets their own Entity, but others can see it on their scanners

How to get rid of it

There is only one way. Go to the End. The dragon is gone, and the Entity is waiting for you on your own island. Break the four Ward Eyes and finish it with your scanner.

Two versions

LiDAR_x180n4 — the full mod with the Entity.
LiDAR — the same darkness, scanner and cards, but without the Entity: no encounters, no daily changes, and the End with the Ender Dragon stays vanilla.

Install only one of them. The versions don’t work together in multiplayer.
