PLAYER CORPSES

This lightweight datapack adds player corpses on players’ death!

Corpses can have two positions, one where the corpse is laying face-down, and one laying face-up, their rotation is also randomized so they may look as if you’ve broken your neck

Corpses decay overtime (250 seconds with corpse being loaded)

CONFIGURATION

/scoreboard players set %DEFAULT player_death_body.remove _(number)_ configures the time for the corpse to decay

Set to 50 by default

The time is x*5 seconds (x is the scoreboard value)

PERFORMANCE

The pack doesn’t tick, only decreases the timer by 1 each 5 seconds so the pack is very much a lightweight one so it barely affects the performance
