Legacy Profiler

Legacy Profiler is a lightweight developer profiling API for Minecraft Forge 1.7.10.

It gives mods a shared way to measure performance without each project needing to implement its own profiler, report system, or session handling.

Integrated mods can register named timing stages, counters, and events. Server operators can then start and stop profiling sessions with commands and export the results for analysis.

For Players

Legacy Profiler is not an optimization mod by itself. It is primarily a developer and diagnostic dependency used by compatible mods to collect detailed performance information.

If another mod lists Legacy Profiler as a dependency, install the Legacy Profiler JAR separately in your mods folder.

For Developers

Consumer mods register their own profiling stages and record observations through the public API. Legacy Profiler handles the shared runtime, session lifecycle, validation, and report generation.
