Legacy Crafting

Legacy Crafting replaces the inventory crafting grid with crafting in the world, slower and more hands-on.

On the ground

• Place items on the ground with V: four items per block make a 2×2 grid. With TerraFirmaCraft, TFC’s own placed items are used; without it, the mod places them itself (right click picks an item up).
• Look at the items to preview the result, scroll to choose between recipes, press R to craft. A craft takes 1 to 5 seconds while you stay close.
• Hold R to keep crafting: the grid refills from your inventory until an item runs out.

At the workbench

• Crafting tables and TFC workbenches keep their items, shown on top of the block.
• The grid holds what you craft: stack more items in the cells to make more (2 logs in a cell make 8 planks).
• Scroll over the button next to Craft to add one item per cell from your inventory, or give one back (up to 64 items).
• While crafting, the Craft button turns into Stop.

For pack makers

• Server config legacycrafting-server.toml: craft times (global and per recipe), distance, groundPlacing, disableInventoryCrafting, workbenchCrafting.
• Attribute legacycrafting:crafting_time to make some players slower or faster.
