Left 2 Mine

Left 2 Mine is a complete overhaul mod which allows players to create, share and play “Left 4 Dead” style maps in Minecraft!

Left 2 Mine 2.0 is here! Completely rewritten for Minecraft 1.21.1 and NeoForge, with new infected, more weapons, survivor bots and plenty more!

Here’s a glimpse of what the mod and update is all about:

This mod is for playing and creating adventure maps. You will need a Left 2 Mine map to play! It does not add this gameplay to a normal survival world.

Features

• Made for multiplayer -> Designed from the ground up to be a multiplayer cooperative experience! Stick together, share supplies and help your teammates when things go wrong.

• Survivor bots -> Play on your own or fill the remaining spaces in your team with bots! They’ll fight alongside you, pick up weapons, heal teammates and try to rescue you from special infected.

• Fully working AI Director -> To capture the Left 4 Dead feeling, the AI Director controls the flow of encounters and reacts to how much pressure your team is under. It builds up the action and gives you some breathing room between fights, helping keep maps fresh when you replay them!

• Hordes of zombies and special infected -> Hunters, Smokers, Boomers, Chargers, Jockeys and Spitters all have their own ways of ruining your day. And of course, there are Tanks and Witches too!

• Plenty of weapons and supplies -> Fight your way through with pistols, shotguns, rifles, sniper rifles and melee weapons. Find a grenade launcher, M60 or chainsaw for when things get a bit more crowded! Medkits, pills, adrenaline and throwables will help keep your team alive along the way.

• 2 Gamemodes -> Play through a coop campaign or see how long you can last in Survival! Create a small survival arena, or build a vast campaign with saferooms and panic events.

• Ragdolls and blood -> Slaying zeds has never felt more satisfying! Explosions send infected flying, melee weapons take them apart, and the effects are configurable.

• Flashlight with shadows -> Light up dark corridors and watch infected cast shadows as they approach. Different flashlight settings let you choose the level of detail.

• Map making tools and commands -> Create your own encounters using spawn nodes, item presets, saferooms and commands. Trap players in a room full of Tanks, set off a panic event, or choose exactly which special infected the Director can spawn!

Music is very important in Left 2 Mine as it helps give sound cues about what is coming. For the best experience, play with music enabled!
