Lazarus Stealth

Staying out of sight can matter as much as fighting. Lazarus Stealth changes how infected perceive players based on posture, cover, lighting, and noise. Crouching, crawling, and using the environment can let you slip past unaware zombies; a careless move may start an investigation or a chase.

Sounds have a point of origin: when an infected hears a quiet noise, it investigates where the sound happened rather than instantly knowing your current position. Surfaces, movement speed, carried weight, and exhaustion affect footstep noise. A discreet indicator displays the noise you produce.

A melee attack against an infected that has not detected you can trigger a stealth finisher. The optional Stealth skill tree improves quiet movement, evasion, and finishers. With Lazarus NPCs, hostile humans can also use sight and sound to find players.

Requirements: Minecraft 1.20.1, Forge 47.x, and Java 17. Integrations with other mods are optional and enable their respective features.

With Simple Voice Chat installed, microphone speech now creates noise that infected can investigate.
Range depends on volume: quiet speech 4 blocks, normal speech 10, and shouting 18. Whisper mode limits the range to 2.5 blocks.
Voice activity appears on the noise indicator.
Volume thresholds and ranges are configurable on the server.

Lazarus Stealth

Ficar fora de vista pode ser tão importante quanto lutar. Lazarus Stealth faz os infectados perceberem o jogador conforme sua postura, cobertura, iluminação e ruído. Agachar, rastejar e usar o ambiente permitem passar perto de zumbis desatentos; um movimento descuidado pode iniciar uma investigação ou perseguição.

Sons têm uma posição de origem: ao ouvir um ruído baixo, o infectado investiga o local onde ele aconteceu, sem saber automaticamente onde você está agora. Superfícies, velocidade, peso e exaustão alteram o barulho dos passos. Um indicador discreto mostra o nível de ruído produzido.

Ataques corpo a corpo contra infectados que ainda não detectaram você podem executar uma finalização furtiva. A árvore opcional Furtividade aprimora movimento silencioso, evasão e finalizações. Com Lazarus NPCs, humanos hostis também podem usar visão e audição para encontrar o jogador.
