Lay’s Attributes

Lay’s Attributes adds a collection of useful player attributes designed for modpacks, progression systems, and skill trees.

It works especially well with mods like Puffish Skills, letting you reward players with new bonuses such as extra drops, damage bonuses, flight, magnets, permanent effects, and more.

The mod also includes an in-game attribute viewer. Press H or use the button in your inventory to view your current player attributes, their values, modifiers, and IDs.

Attributes

Drops and Harvesting

Extra Ore Drops
Adds extra loot rolls when mining ores. Fractional values work, so 1.5 gives 1 guaranteed extra roll and a 50% chance for another.

Extra Crop Drops
Adds extra drops from fully grown crops, melons, and pumpkins.

Extra Wood Drops
Adds extra drops when breaking logs.

Extra Digging Drops
Adds extra drops from shovel-mineable blocks.

Extra Mob Loot
Adds extra loot rolls when killing mobs.

Extra Catches
Adds extra fishing loot rolls when successfully catching something.

Vein Miner
When sneaking and mining an ore, breaks connected matching ores. The attribute value controls how many extra blocks can be broken.

Tree Feller
When sneaking and breaking a log, breaks connected logs. The attribute value controls how many extra logs can be broken.

Combat

Damage vs Undead
Increases damage dealt to undead mobs.

Damage vs Arthropods
Increases damage dealt to arthropods.

Damage vs Aquatic
Increases damage dealt to aquatic mobs.

Damage vs Illagers
Increases damage dealt to illagers.

Damage vs Players
Increases damage dealt to players.

Damage Reflection
Reflects part of the damage you take back to the attacker.

Fire Damage Reduction
Reduces incoming fire damage.

Explosion Damage Reduction
Reduces incoming explosion damage.

Freezing Damage Reduction
Reduces incoming freezing damage.

Movement and Utility

Flight
Allows survival flight when the value is at least 1.

Flight Speed
Increases flight speed while the Flight attribute is active.

Item Magnet
Pulls nearby dropped items toward the player. The value controls the range.

XP Magnet
Pulls nearby experience orbs toward the player. The value controls the range.

Hunger Reduction
Reduces food exhaustion, making hunger drain slower.

Permanent Effects

These attributes apply their effect when the value is at least 1.

Night Vision
Grants permanent Night Vision.

Water Breathing
Grants permanent Water Breathing.

Fire Immunity
Grants permanent Fire Resistance.

Slow Falling
Grants permanent Slow Falling.

Dolphin’s Grace
Grants permanent Dolphin’s Grace.

Conduit Power
Grants permanent Conduit Power.

This mod is intended for modpacks and progression systems. Attributes can be given through compatible systems such as Puffish Skills, commands, or other mods that can modify player attributes.
