Keep My Sword

Keep My Sword prevents items from disappearing when their durability runs out. Broken items remain in your inventory in an unusable state and can still be repaired.

Items in the #keep_my_sword:excluded item tag are ignored by this mod.

How it works

1. When an item runs out of durability, it doesn’t break. It stays in your inventory as a broken, unusable item.
2. Repair it the usual way — anvil, grindstone, or crafting.
3. It comes back just as a normal repair would leave it — use an anvil to keep its enchantments and name.

Configuration

Starting in 1.2.0, configuration is available at config/keep_my_sword.toml and loaded on game startup (restart the game after editing):
