Keep Inventory: Lite

This mod adds three game rules:

Keep Inventory: Lite (keepInventoryLite):

• When enabled, players will not drop certain items on death, but the rest of their items and XP will drop
• Safe inventory slots are configurable (default safe slots are hotbar, armor and offhand)
• Curse of Vanishing items will still vanish regardless of inventory placement
• Gets overridden by vanilla keep inventory
• Default: true

KIL: Drop all XP (keepInventoryLiteDropAllXp):

• If enabled alongside “Keep Inventory: Lite”, players will drop *all* of their XP on death, not the reduced XP like in vanilla
• Default: true

KIL: XP retention (keepInventoryLiteXpRetention):

• The percentage of XP players will retain and not drop on death when “Keep Inventory: Lite” is enabled.
• Default: 0

Port Notice:

• I personally will probably not port this mod to any version or modloader other than what’s already available. However, the source code is public on GitHub if anyone wishes to make a port themselves (just reach out to me, preferrably on Discord, and I can upload the port to the mod page here)
