NOTICE:

This mod requires ffmpeg and yt-dlp for YouTube audio processing. These tools are only needed on the server (not clients in multiplayer), if in a Single Player, they will then download to the client if enabled.

During Mod Initialization(and if custom records are enabled via Configs), betterdiscs will automatically download or if needed, update these open-source tools from their official GitHub releases:

If you’re choosing to download manually, and it starts to fail when trying to create a new record, BE SURE yt-dlp is updated to the latest version!

Linux users: It’s recommended to install ffmpeg via your package manager (apt install ffmpeg, dnf install ffmpeg, etc.) instead of the auto-download.
