Jasmine Flavored: Death

A rework to Minecraft’s death system, made to be more forgiving. Dying no longer drops your inventory, instead you will lose one maximum heart.

Allay’s Hearts

“Gifts from the Fae”

Rare items that add one maximum heart to your healthbar once consumed, these hearts can only be lost when dying. They can be obtained from breaking spawners, looting chests, killing powerful mobs, and brushing suspicious sand/gravel.

Heart Flowers

“A delicacy from the other side”

Edible items that can be obtained via finding them growing in the deep dark or having them be dug up by sniffers. When consumed, they grant the “Vitality” effect, which protects health loss upon death for one life.

This mod is heavily inspired by the death system from the datapack Matcha Flavoured by Klei_Wright.
